What is Hypnosis?
During everyday we all go in & out of a natural state of mind known as hypnosis. It is characterised by focused attention, for example when we are reading something interesting to us. During this time, we have an increased capacity to accept suggestions.
What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy utilises this increased capacity for us to accept helpful suggestions to assist us in gaining control over unwanted physical symptoms, thoughts & behaviours. It can be applied to a large range of physical & mental issues you wish to alter. Hypnotherapy is a powerful tool with a substantial body of research demonstrating its ability to produce a desired result in many conditions.
What might Hypnotherapy feel like?
People often describe hypnosis feeling a bit like being half awake & half asleep. I will guide your thoughts and imagination. You will be in an ultimate state of control as its up to you whether you choose to imagine what I suggest. You will learn how to enhance your minds capacity to affect bodily function & symptoms as our thoughts have a direct biophysical response in our bodies (just imagine sucking on a juicy lemon & most people salivate).
