General Practitioner - Welcomes new patients
Dr Madeleine Jones is a General Practitioner who grew up and trained in Adelaide, completing her medical degree at the University of Adelaide. She has a strong background in hospital-based medicine, having worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre, and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where she gained experience across emergency care and general medicine, including sexual health and gynaecology.
Since transitioning to general practice, Dr Jones has been caring for patients in Adelaide’s inner south, where she is passionate about building long-term, mutually respectful relationships with her patients. She is particularly dedicated to supporting those with undiagnosed concerns or chronic health conditions, ensuring they receive continuity of care and a collaborative approach to their well-being.
Dr Jones enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to learning from her patients. Her areas of special interest include:
- Family medicine
- Sexual health, including menstrual health
- POTS assessments
- Chronic disease management, including GP Management Plans and multidisciplinary care
- Preventative health
- Mental health care plans
- Implanon insertion
Outside of medicine, Dr Jones enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and tending to her garden with her toddler and beloved dog.
